The Great Falls Americans relied on the scoring touch of Lucas Lomax, who netted two goals, to beat the Billings Bulls, 5-0.

Lomax's tallies came on the power play at 7:31 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Great Falls and short handed 9:06 into the second to make the score 2-0 Great Falls.

Great Falls' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Billings power plays. The Americans forced Billings goalie Ray Smith to work between the pipes, taking 42 shots.

Great Falls additionally got points from Wade Wylie, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Great Falls also had goals scored by Zack Mese and Malachi Bushey, who scored one goal each. More assists for Great Falls came via Dylan Garton, who had two and Robert Kalata, Blake Miller, Joshua Larson, Cody Page, Brendan Jester, Austin Krantz, and Connor Barta, who contributed one each.

Lauren Massie made 19 saves for Great Falls on 19 shots. The Americans incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Smith recorded 37 saves for Billings.
