Nashville rolls over Texas, 4-0

The Nashville Jr. Predators had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-0 win over the Texas Jr. Brahmas.

Nashville was paced by Nick Mammel, who grabbed one goal. Mammel scored 4:57 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Nashville. Topi Samuli Aheristo provided the assist.

The Jr. Predators' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Texas power plays. Texas was unable to stop Nashville from sending pucks towards the net, and the Jr. Predators eventually piled up 31 shots on goal.

Others who scored for Nashville included Ben Falk, Jacob Elrod, and Jon Severson, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Nashville were Matiss Gelazis, who had three and Noah Keener, Nickolas Tandeski, Trent Kulczyk, and Kyle Van Wyk, who contributed one each.

The Jr. Brahmas were held below their usual level of production. Texas puts an average of 3.2 pucks into the net per game.

Justin Ball recorded 19 saves for Nashville. The Jr. Predators incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Joe Hacker made 27 saves for the Jr. Brahmas on 31 shots. Texas ended with 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major.
