The Nashville Jr. Predators had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-1 win over the Dallas Jr. Stars.

Nashville was led by Trent Kulczyk, who racked up one goal and one assist. Kulczyk scored on the power play 10:45 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Nashville. A hooking penalty on Trent Wolter had put the Jr. Predators on the power play. Colton Anderson provided the assist.

Dallas was unable to stop Nashville from sending pucks towards the net, and the Jr. Predators eventually piled up 59 shots on goal.

Nashville also got points from Matiss Gelazis, who also registered one goal and one assist, Anderson, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Spencer Marchand, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Jesse Hyde also scored for Nashville. More assists for Nashville came via Nickolas Tandeski, Topi Samuli Aheristo, Jacob Elrod, Nick Mammel, and Alex Durand, who contributed one each.

The Jr. Stars found themselves stymied offensively, and got off a mere 13 shots against Nashville's defense.

Dallas was led by Tyler Valentin, who scored the team's only goal. Valentin scored on the power play 8:48 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Nashville. The Jr. Stars had taken the advantage when the Jr. Predators' Cole Helgemo got sent off for tripping. Drew Hill picked up the assist.

Nashville's Justin Ball stopped 12 shots out of the 13 that he faced. The Jr. Predators totaled 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 1-for-3 on the power play. Anthony Galliart rejected 54 shots on goal for Dallas. The Jr. Stars totaled 23 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 1-for-4 on the power play.
