The Bozeman Icedogs almost clawed their way back from a three-goal deficit, but the Great Falls Americans managed to pull out a 3-2 win in the end. Great Falls led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Americans' Cody Page scored on the power play at 18:58 in the first period to put Great Falls up 3-0. Bozeman was unable to stop the Americans from sending pucks towards the net, and Great Falls eventually piled up 39 shots on goal. The Americans were helped by Connor Barta, who had one goal. Barta scored 17:48 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Great Falls. Brendan Jester picked up the assist. Great Falls also had goals scored by Dylan Garton and Lucas Lomax, who scored one goal each. In addition, Great Falls received assists from Arseny Ivanov, Erik Gatson, Miles Giorgione, and Malachi Bushey, who each chipped in one. The Icedogs were led by Gunnar Mogck, who had one goal and one assist. Mogck scored 16:53 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Great Falls. Ryan Erickson provided the assist. Bozeman also got a goal from Kyler Chartier as well. More assists for Bozeman came via Thomas Benedict and Kegan Couture, who contributed one each. Great Falls' Lauren Massie stopped 21 shots out of the 23 that he faced. The Americans incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Denijs Romanovskis made 36 saves for Bozeman on 39 shots. The Icedogs incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
