Glacier relied on the sparkling performance of Ryan Lund in net to grab a 2-1 win against the Great Falls Americans. Glacier was led by Joshua Larson, who had one goal and one assist. Larson scored short handed 19:23 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Glacier. A tripping call on Luke Dickison put Glacier on the penalty kill. Glacier put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Great Falls to score on any of its five power plays. Glacier also got a goal from Tommy Kaddatz as well. In addition, Glacier received assists from Matt Gamblin, who had one. The Americans could not produce up to their normal offensive output. Great Falls averages 4.1 goals per game. The Americans' offense rang up 58 shots on Glacier's net. Great Falls was led by Malachi Bushey, who scored the team's only goal. Bushey scored 17:24 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Great Falls. Marvin Simmons picked up the assist. Glacier's Lund stopped 57 shots out of the 58 that he faced.
