Texas earns hard-fought 1-0 win over Nashville

The game between the Texas Jr. Brahmas and the Nashville Jr. Predators proved to be an even match, as Texas took home the victory by scoring only once in a 1-0 win.

Anthony Koslow's tally was assisted by Mykyta Sheptytsky.

The Jr. Brahmas were led by Koslow, who tallied one goal. Koslow scored 19:53 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Texas. Sheptytsky provided the assist.

Texas' offense rang up 31 shots on Nashville's net.

The Jr. Predators put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Jr. Brahmas to score on any of their three power plays. Nashville did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Jr. Predators put an average of 5.2 pucks into the net per game.

Joe Hacker made 21 saves for Texas on 21 shots. The Jr. Brahmas incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Nathan Klebe rejected 30 shots on goal for Nashville. The Jr. Predators incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
