Hill's goals lift Cincinnati to 4-1 victory over Pittsburgh

Drew Hill was all over the ice for the Cincinnati Swords, as he tallied two goals in Cincinnati's 4-1 win over the Pittsburgh Vengeance.

Hill scored at 3:21 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Cincinnati and again while 18:31 into the third to make the score 4-1 Cincinnati.

The Swords were led by goalie James Schroeder, who finished with 27 saves while allowing one goal. The solid play of Schroeder will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 3.75.

Cincinnati additionally got points from Marc Anderson, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Cincinnati also got a goal from Andrew Bond as well. More assists for Cincinnati came via Brett Mory, Ramsey Mayne, Hunter Schneider, Brenden Williams, and Adam Goudelock, who each chipped in one.

Pittsburgh put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Cincinnati to score on any of its three power plays. The Vengeance did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Pittsburgh averages 3.2 goals per game.

The Vengeance were led by Leo Blore, who scored the team's only goal. Blore scored 3:50 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Cincinnati. Jake Parry picked up the assist.

The Swords incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Jacob Stack rejected 16 shots on goal for Pittsburgh. The Vengeance incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
