Huge game by Pilet boosts Yellowstone over Bozeman, 6-3Riley Arena Sat, Oct 18, 2014 Story by Narrative Science.
The Yellowstone Quake's Sean Pilet had a big offensive game, scoring four goals and contributing one assist in his team's 6-3 win over the Bozeman Icedogs. Pilet's first goal came 12:13 into the first period. He then added goals at 15:52 into the first, at 31 seconds into the third, and at 6:38 into the third.Yellowstone forced Bozeman goalie Cody Smargiassi to work between the pipes, taking 48 shots. The Quake outdid their season average for goals scored. This season, Yellowstone averages 2.8 goals per contest. The Quake's penalty kill unit could not stop the Icedogs' power play, which converted on two of three opportunities. Yellowstone additionally got points from Sawyer Scanlan, who also had one goal and one assist and Max Doner, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Buck Scougale also scored for Yellowstone. Cody Smargiassi made 42 saves for Bozeman on 48 shots. The Icedogs incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
