Cornwall downs Cumberland, 4-0

Tanner Spink had one point to lead the Cornwall Colts to a 4-0 victory over the Cumberland Grads.

Cornwall stifled Cumberland's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Colts featured an improved defense during the game. Cornwall gives up 2.7 goals on average per game. The Colts' offense rang up 38 shots on the Grads' net.

Cornwall also got points from Tristen Elie, who also registered one goal and one assist and Matthew Morin, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Cornwall also got a goal from Cameron Roth as well. In addition, Cornwall received assists from Marly Quince, who had two and Cal Hofford, Lawson MacDonald, Parker Krol, and Kevin Hope, who contributed one each.

Cumberland's offense operated below its season average. The Grads average 2.3 goals per game.

Denny Dubblestyne made 20 saves for Cornwall on 20 shots. The Colts incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Cumberland's Paul Leger stopped 34 shots out of the 38 that he faced. The Grads incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
