Huge game by Quince boosts Cornwall over Gloucester, 5-2

The Cornwall Colts' Marly Quince had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 5-2 win over the Gloucester Rangers.

Quince beat David Richer with a shot 4:58 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Cornwall. Quince dished an assist on Grant Cooper's goal that made the score 2-0 Cornwall at 13:45 into the first period. He added another helper on Kevin Hope's goal that made the score 5-2 Cornwall at 19:09 into the second period.

Cornwall's offense rang up 34 shots on Gloucester's net.

Cornwall also got points from Hope, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Cornwall also got a goal from Tanner Spink as well. Other players who recorded assists for Cornwall were Cal Hofford, Ross Craig, Matthew Morin, and Cameron Roth, who each chipped in one.

The Rangers were helped by Matt Foget, who had one goal. Foget scored 9:44 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Cornwall. Max Veronneau picked up the assist. Ryan Kuffner also scored for Gloucester. In addition, Gloucester received assists from Chris Morgan, who had one and Alex Bilodeau, who had two.

Brett Nichol rejected 27 shots on goal for the Colts. Cornwall incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. David Richer made 29 saves for Gloucester on 34 shots. The Rangers incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. For Gloucester, Diego Gagnon was ejected from the game.
