The Smiths Falls Bears gutted out a close 3-2 win against the Cornwall Colts.

Smiths Falls gained the winning advantage on a goal by Noah Gurr 15:50 into the second period and hung on until final buzzer.

The Bears were led by Gurr, who registered one goal and one assist.

Others who scored for Smiths Falls included Josh Leblanc and Nathan Foster, who scored one goal each. In addition, Smiths Falls received assists from Michael McKenney, who had two and Ryan Duhaime, Kevin Groulx, and Brett Garvey, who each chipped in one.

Cornwall was helped by Tanner Spink, who finished with one goal. Spink scored 2:09 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Smiths Falls. Tristen Elie provided the assist. Cornwall also got a goal from Lawson MacDonald as well. More assists for Cornwall came via Tristan Conrad, Grant Cooper, and Parker Krol, who contributed one each.

Michael Pinios rejected 28 shots on goal for Smiths Falls. The Bears incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Denny Dubblestyne recorded 25 saves for the Colts. Cornwall incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
