Alex Row was all over the ice for Kemptville, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Row scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 11:20 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Kemptville. The 73s had gotten the advantage when Kanata's Bryce Biller was sent off for elbowing. Cody Hendsbee provided the assist. Row's next tally on the power play made the score 3-0 Kemptville with 19:14 left in the third period. Erik Brown picked up the assist.

The Stallions were stymied by Kemptville's netminder Nicholas Hodgins, who stopped 25 shots during the victory. The solid play of Hodgins will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 3.16.

The 73s put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Kanata to score on any of its six power plays.
