Gloucester downs Kanata, 5-2

Matt Adams had one point to lead the Gloucester Rangers to a 5-2 victory over the Kanata Stallions.

Gloucester stifled Kanata's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Gloucester additionally got points from Max Veronneau, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Jaren Burke, who also registered one goal and one assist. Gloucester also got a goal from Joey Fallon as well. More assists for Gloucester came via Ryan Kuffner, who had two, Matt Foget, who had three, and Zachary Borsoi and Diego Gagnon, who contributed one each.

The Stallions were led by Hugo Petit, who racked up one goal. Petit scored 1:04 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Kanata. James Thomson picked up the assist. Nicholas Turenko also scored for Kanata. In addition, Kanata received assists from Bryce Biller and Tyler ONeill, who each chipped in one.

Doug Johnston made 14 saves for the Rangers on 16 shots. Gloucester incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Kanata's Andrew Cipollone stopped 25 shots out of the 30 that he faced. The Stallions incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
