A stellar performance between the pipes by Gunner Rivers helped the Hawkesbury Hawks defeat the Carleton Place Canadians, 3-1. Hawkesbury's penalty kill excelled, as the Hawks gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays. Hawkesbury was led by Hunter Racine, who had one goal.
