Pembroke blows out Gloucester, 6-2

The Pembroke Lumber Kings were firing on all cylinders against the Gloucester Rangers, and when the final buzzer sounded Lumber Kings emerged with a 6-2 win.

Adam Dauda was all over the ice for Pembroke, as he tallied two goals in the win. Dauda scored on the power play at 6:19 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Pembroke and again while on the power play 8:30 into the first to make the score 2-0 Pembroke.

Gloucester's five penalties came back to haunt it, as the Rangers let up four goals while on the penalty kill.

Gloucester was unable to stop the Lumber Kings from sending pucks towards the net, and Pembroke eventually piled up 38 shots on goal.

Pembroke additionally got points from Felix Chamberland, who also registered two goals and two assists to lead the team in points. Pembroke also had goals scored by Hudson Michaelis and Justin Felhaber, who each put in one. More assists for Pembroke came via Brendan Valko and Ryan Casselman, who contributed one each and Owen McDade, Alexandre Boivin, and Adam Beveridge, who each chipped in two.

The Rangers were helped by Joey Fallon, who racked up one goal. Fallon scored on the power play 2:10 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Pembroke. Gloucester had taken the advantage when the Lumber Kings' McDade got sent off for roughing. Jaren Burke assisted on the tally. Zachary Borsoi also scored for Gloucester. In addition, Gloucester received assists from Matt Foget and Matt Adams, who contributed one each.

Jordan Piccolino rejected 28 shots on goal for Pembroke. The Lumber Kings incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. David Richer made 32 saves for the Rangers on 38 shots. Gloucester totaled 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 2-for-9 on the power play. The Rangers ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Lucas Zwaagstra was ejected from the game.
