Hawkesbury falls to Ottawa in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

The Ottawa Senators' Thomas Crevier scored 49 seconds into overtime to beat the Hawkesbury Hawks, 4-3 (OT).

Ottawa was paced by Crevier, who tallied one goal.

The Senators were led by Crevier, who racked up one goal.

Ottawa put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Hawkesbury to score on any of its three power plays. The Senators' offense rang up 42 shots on the Hawks' net.

Others who scored for Ottawa included Shawn Lynch, Connor Bebb, and Geoffrey Lawson, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Ottawa were Isaac Anderson and Zach Car, who contributed one each and Daniel Sarracco and Jim Pearson, who each chipped in two.

Hawkesbury was led by Rory Gagnon, who had two goals. Gagnon scored the first of his two goals at 7:54 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Simon Houle picked up the assist. Gagnon's next tally made the score 3-2 Hawkesbury with 17:54 left in the second period. Ross Mandigo assisted on the tally. Hawkesbury also got a goal from Jonathan Cyr as well. In addition, Hawkesbury received assists from Brandon Barillaro, Alex Anderson, Chris Harper, and David Cyr, who contributed one each.

Ian Andriano rejected 18 shots on goal for Ottawa. The Senators incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Gunner Rivers recorded 38 saves for the Hawks. Hawkesbury incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
