Pembroke falls to Gloucester in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

The Gloucester Rangers' Tyler Greenberg scored 16 seconds into overtime to beat the Pembroke Lumber Kings, 3-2 (OT).

Pembroke's power play was ineffective against Gloucester's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

The Rangers were led by Greenberg, who had one goal and one assist.

Gloucester forced the Lumber Kings goalie Sean Green to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots.

Gloucester also got points from Michael Blacksmith, who also registered one goal and one assist and Cameron Hughes, who also tallied one goal and one assist. In addition, Gloucester received assists from Antonio Micucci, who had two.

Pembroke was helped by Hudson Michaelis, who finished with one goal. Michaelis scored 9:03 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Pembroke. Dylan Chase assisted on the tally. Brett du Puy also scored for Pembroke. Other players who recorded assists for Pembroke were Jesse Blais and Ryan Casselman, who contributed one each.

Doug Johnston made 28 saves for the Rangers on 30 shots. Gloucester incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. The Lumber Kings' Green stopped 28 shots out of the 31 that he faced. Pembroke incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
