Josh Zizek was all over the ice for the Nepean Raiders, as he tallied two goals and two assists in Nepean's 5-2 win over the Pembroke Lumber Kings. Zizek's tallies came at 17:14 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Nepean and on the power play 16 seconds into the second to make the score 3-0 Nepean.Nepean additionally got points from Brandon Watt, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Nepean also had goals scored by Felix Page and Brandon Belding, who scored one goal each. More assists for Nepean came via Dakota Ford, who had two and Chad Malinowski, Jody Sullivan, and Broydon Stufko, who each chipped in one. The Raiders were unable to stop Pembroke from sending pucks towards the net, and the Lumber Kings eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. Pembroke was helped by Anthony Nellis, who tallied two goals. Nellis scored the first of his two goals at 14:45 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Nepean. Brett du Puy provided the assist. Nellis' next tally made the score 4-2 Nepean with 3:13 left in the third period. Alexandre Boivin picked up the assist. Other players who recorded assists for Pembroke were Stephan Beauvais, who had one. Daniel Urbani rejected 31 shots on goal for Nepean. The Raiders incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. The Lumber Kings' Sean Green stopped 20 shots out of the 25 that he faced. Pembroke incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
