Dauda's big game bests Cumberland in 6-2 Pembroke win

The Pembroke Lumber Kings' Adam Dauda had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 6-2 win over the Cumberland Grads.

Dauda beat Kevin Gollmer with a shot 10:27 into the second period to make the score 3-0 Pembroke. Felix Chamberland assisted on the tally. Dauda dished an assist on Hudson Michaelis's goal that made the score 4-2 Pembroke at 15:33 into the second period. He added another helper on Michaelis' goal that made the score 5-2 Pembroke at 15:44 into the second period.

Pembroke's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Cumberland power plays. The Lumber Kings kept Cumberland's goalie busy throughout the game, and Gollmer made 42 saves on 48 shots.

Pembroke additionally got points from Michaelis, who also racked up two goals and one assist, Anthony Nellis, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Alexandre Boivin, who also registered one goal and one assist. Liam Biard also scored for Pembroke. In addition, Pembroke received assists from Connor Rankin, Zachary Borsoi, Stephan Beauvais, and Justin Felhaber, who each chipped in one.

The Grads were helped by Martin Frechette, who grabbed one goal. Frechette scored 12:49 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Pembroke. Cameron Roth picked up the assist. Cumberland also got a goal from Travis Douglas as well. Other players who recorded assists for Cumberland were Reid Murphy, Thomas Mansbridge, and Maxime St.Pierre, who contributed one each.

Sean Green recorded 19 saves for Pembroke. The Lumber Kings incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Cumberland incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
