The Ottawa Senators were firing on all cylinders against the Smiths Falls Bears, and when the final buzzer sounded Senators emerged with a 4-1 win. Ottawa was led by Alexandre Way, who registered one goal. Way scored 8:57 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Ottawa. Sean Rappleyea assisted on the tally. Jim Pearson also scored for Ottawa. In addition, Ottawa received assists from Chandler Watson, who had two and Connor Bebb, Joey Champigny, and Geoffrey Lawson, who contributed one each.
