The Brockville Braves relied on the scoring touch of Jack Billings, who netted two goals, to beat the Kemptville 73s, 5-2. Billings scored at 5:40 into the third period to make the score 2-2 and again while on the power play 15:24 into the third to make the score 3-2 Brockville.Brockville's penalty kill excelled, as the Braves gave up one goal despite allowing six power plays. Brockville's offense rang up 36 shots on Kemptville's net. Brockville additionally got points from Liam Folkes, who also had one goal and one assist. Brockville also had goals scored by Owen Gill and Tre Folkes, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Brockville were Landon Gareau, Francesco Iannantuono, and Andrew Peski, who contributed one each and Eric Israel and Sean King, who each chipped in two. The 73s kept the Braves' goalie busy throughout the game, and Bo Taylor made 39 saves on 41 shots. Kemptville was helped by Shawn Cameron, who tallied one goal. Cameron scored on the power play 3:43 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Kemptville. A high sticking penalty on Israel had put the 73s on the power play. Cody Hendsbee provided the assist. Kemptville also got a goal from Tyson Kirkby as well. Brockville incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Nicholas Hodgins recorded 31 saves for Kemptville. The 73s incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
