Carleton Place downs Brockville, 5-2

Jordan Larson finished with two points to lead the Carleton Place Canadians to a 5-2 victory over the Brockville Braves.

Carleton Place additionally got points from Andy Sturtz, who also registered one goal and one assist. Carleton Place also got a goal from Stephen Baylis as well. Other players who recorded assists for Carleton Place were Willie Brooks, who had two and AJ Klein, Devin Campbell, Wesley Baker, Adam Lloyd, Brett Garvey, and Trent Shore, who each chipped in one.

Brockville's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Carleton Place power plays.

The Braves were helped by Liam Folkes, who racked up one goal. Folkes scored 8:29 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Eric Israel assisted on the tally. Sean King also scored for Brockville. In addition, Brockville received assists from Jack Billings, Zach Masterson, and Andrew Peski, who contributed one each.

Guillaume Therien recorded 28 saves for Carleton Place. The Canadians incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. David Poirier made 23 saves for Brockville on 28 shots. The Braves incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
