The Hawkesbury Hawks had trouble finding ways to stop the Cornwall Colts, which beat Hawks, 5-1. Cornwall was led by goalie Denny Dubblestyne, who finished with 30 saves while allowing one goal. Dubblestyne managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 1.3 prior to the game. The Colts pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 18 penalty minutes.
