The game between the Nepean Raiders and the Smiths Falls Bears was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Nepean emerged with a 4-3 win.

The Raiders gained the winning advantage on a goal by Mac MacSorley 4:00 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

Nepean's offense rang up 34 shots on Smiths Falls' net.

The Raiders were led by Broydon Stufko, who racked up two goals. Stufko scored the first of his two goals at 3:33 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Rory Garlasco assisted on the tally. Stufko's next tally made the score 3-3 with 13:32 left in the second period. Josh Zizek picked up the assist. Felix Page also scored for Nepean. Other players who recorded assists for Nepean were Diego Gagnon, Brandon Watt, and Luke McCaw, who each chipped in one.

The Bears were led by Brandon Lesway, who had two goals. Lesway scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 11:00 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Smiths Falls. Smiths Falls had taken the advantage when Nepean's William White got sent off for boarding. Neil Doef assisted on the tally. Lesway's next tally on the power play made the score 3-2 Smiths Falls with 16:14 left in the second period. Doef picked up the assist. Smiths Falls also got a goal from Michael McKenney as well. More assists for Smiths Falls came via Taylor Henry, who had two and Sebastien Barrette and Cole Busschaert, who contributed one each.

Will King recorded 25 saves for the Raiders. Nepean incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Bears' Roman Bengart stopped 30 shots out of the 34 that he faced. Smiths Falls incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
