Aaron Vatcher registered two points to lead the Lakefield Chiefs to an 8-5 victory over the North Kawartha Knights. Lakefield was sparked by Vatcher, who racked up one goal and one assist. Vatcher scored 11:32 into the third period to make the score 6-4 Lakefield. Jesse Gregory assisted on the tally. The Chiefs forced North Kawartha goalie James Hack to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots. Lakefield bested its season scoring average. This season, the Chiefs average 4.6 goals per contest.
