The Uxbridge Bruins and the Little Britain Merchants were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Uxbridge made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-2.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Michael Spataro at 14:49 of the second period.

Dylan Locke had a great game for the Bruins, netting two goals. Locke scored at 15:16 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Uxbridge and again while 19:48 into the third to make the score 4-2 Uxbridge.

Uxbridge stifled Little Britain's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Bruins kept the Merchants' goalie busy throughout the game, and Garrett Haden made 28 saves on 32 shots.

Marco Mastrangelo also scored for Uxbridge. Other players who recorded assists for Uxbridge were Tyson Eastgate, who had three.

Little Britain excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The Merchants could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game.

Little Britain was helped by Mackenzie Smith, who racked up one goal. Smith scored 16:39 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Uxbridge. Kurtis Moore picked up the assist. Little Britain additionally got points from Moore, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. More assists for Little Britain came via Terry Snoddon, who had two.

Brandon Francey recorded 24 saves for Uxbridge. The Bruins incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. The Merchants registered zero goals on three power play opportunities.
