The Little Britain Merchants were firing on all cylinders against the Georgina Ice, and when the final buzzer sounded Merchants emerged with an 8-2 win.

Brady Martin was all over the ice for Little Britain, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Martin scored short handed 17:54 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Little Britain. A holding call on Brant Foster put the Merchants on the penalty kill.

Georgina's power play was ineffective against Little Britain's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

The Merchants stifled the Ice's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Little Britain's offense rang up 46 shots on Georgina's net. The Merchants bested their season scoring average. Little Britain averages 4.2 goals per game.

Little Britain additionally got points from Mason Patterson, who also registered one goal and one assist, Brett Doble, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Matt VanKessel, who also had one goal and one assist. Little Britain also had goals scored by Aidan Renouf, who had two and Terry Snoddon and Brad Ward, who scored one goal each.
