Ryan Nichols netted a hat trick to lead the Port Perry Mojacks over the North Kawartha Knights, 7-0. Nichols got on the scoresheet 5:52 into the first period. He then added goals at 16:37 into the second and at 17:18 into the second.Port Perry stifled North Kawartha's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Mojacks' defensive play was more effective than usual against the Knights. Port Perry allows 2.6 goals per game. The Mojacks' goal total was higher than their season average. Port Perry has scored at the pace of 4.1 goals per game during the current campaign. Port Perry additionally got points from Kyle Powell, who also registered one goal and one assist, Evan Wasylyk, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Lucas Clark, who also registered one goal and two assists. Stevie Sampson also scored for Port Perry.
