Eddy Whitmore registered one point to lead the North Kawartha Knights to a 4-0 victory over the Georgina Ice.

North Kawartha stifled Georgina's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Cameron Medland also scored for North Kawartha. In addition, North Kawartha received assists from Cole Robbins, Braden Frise, Daniel Bennett, and Christian Lachapelle, who contributed one each.

The Ice's offense operated below their season average. Georgina averages 2.8 goals per game. The Ice managed to hold the Knights' power play largely in check, allowing only one goal while on the disadvantage. Georgina found itself short handed often, totaling 28 penalty minutes and allowing 11 power plays.

James Hack rejected 19 shots on goal for North Kawartha. The Knights incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Brandon Klerer recorded 23 saves for the Ice. Georgina registered zero goals on three power play opportunities.
