The Little Britain Merchants' Kurtis Moore had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 5-2 win over the Uxbridge Bruins.

Moore found the back of the net on the power play 1:18 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Uxbridge and again while 12:19 into the second to make the score 4-2 Little Britain.

Little Britain's penalty kill excelled, as the Merchants gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.

Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 6:40 into the second period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts.

Little Britain stifled Uxbridge's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Merchants got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Little Britain also got points from Mitchell Brown, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Mackenzie Smith, who also grabbed one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Little Britain also got a goal from Mark Harris as well. In addition, Little Britain received assists from Terry Snoddon, who had two and Hayden Long and Jesse Beers, who each chipped in one.

The Bruins were held below their usual level of production. Uxbridge puts an average of 4.1 pucks into the net per game. Little Britain was unable to stop the Bruins from sending pucks towards the net, and Uxbridge eventually piled up 34 shots on goal.

The Bruins were helped by Marco Mastrangelo, who had one goal. Mastrangelo scored 14:53 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Uxbridge. Alex Siblock assisted on the tally. Korey Brand also scored for Uxbridge. More assists for Uxbridge came via Adam Bartholomew, Owen Scuralli, and Thomas Sheedy, who contributed one each.

Garrett Haden rejected 32 shots on goal for the Merchants. Little Britain totaled 19 minutes in penalty time with seven minors and one major and went 3-for-7 on the power play. For the Merchants, Aidan Renouf and Kyle ODonnell were ejected from the contest. Uxbridge's Brandon Francey stopped 21 shots out of the 26 that he faced. The Bruins ended with 19 minutes in penalty time with seven minors and one major. Uxbridge ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Matt Pollard was ejected from the game.
