The Uxbridge Bruins' Marco Mastrangelo had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 6-2 win over the Georgina Ice.

Mastrangelo found the back of the net on the power play 12:27 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Uxbridge and again while 5:31 into the second to make the score 2-0 Uxbridge.

Uxbridge's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Georgina power plays. The Bruins forced Georgina goalie Ethan Slimkowich to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots.

Uxbridge additionally got points from Jarett Smith, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Uxbridge included Korey Brand, Shane Smith, and Tyson Eastgate, who scored one goal each. In addition, Uxbridge received assists from Carter Vahey, Daryl Thomson, Patrick Bolahood, and Alex Williamson, who contributed one each.

The Ice were helped by Brett Theissen, who grabbed one goal. Theissen scored 15:13 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Uxbridge. Georgina also got a goal from Bradley Boudreau as well. More assists for Georgina came via Bradley Evans and McKenzie Gray, who each chipped in one.

Uxbridge's Brandon Francey stopped 26 shots out of the 28 that he faced. The Bruins incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. For Uxbridge, Adam Bartholomew was ejected from the game. Ethan Slimkowich made 29 saves for Georgina on 35 shots. The Ice incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
