De Concilys leads Trenton over Kingston, 5-2

The Trenton Golden Hawks' Zach de Concilys had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 5-2 win over the Kingston Voyageurs.

De Concilys scored 10:28 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Trenton. Brady Wiffen picked up the assist. De Concilys dished an assist on Wiffen's goal that made the score 2-0 Trenton at 5:38 into the second period. He added another helper on Braden Hellems's goal that made the score 3-0 Trenton at 19:09 into the second period.

Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with three goals.

Trenton also got points from Wiffen, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Loren Ulett also scored for Trenton. In addition, Trenton received assists from Danny Liscio, who had two and Michael Siddall, Bobby Polachek, and Chrisitian Lloyd, who contributed one each.

Kingston's offense rang up 31 shots on Trenton's net. The Voyageurs' defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. Kingston is averaging 2.4 goals against for the season.

The Voyageurs were led by Alex Tonge, who racked up one goal and one assist. Tonge scored on the power play 15:47 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Trenton. Kingston had taken the advantage when the Golden Hawks' Polachek got sent off for slashing. Adam Brady assisted on the tally. Kingston also got a goal from Josh Hicks as well. More assists for Kingston came via Blake ONeill, who had one.

Justin Kapelmaster rejected 29 shots on goal for Trenton. The Golden Hawks incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Matt Penta recorded 25 saves for the Voyageurs. Kingston incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
