Trenton downs North York, 6-1

Bobby Polachek finished with one point to lead the Trenton Golden Hawks to a 6-1 victory over the North York Rangers.

Trenton's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four North York power plays. The Golden Hawks kept North York's goalie busy throughout the game, and Gianluca Baggetta made 36 saves on 42 shots.

Trenton additionally got points from Danny Liscio, who also registered one goal and one assist, Chrisitian Lloyd, who also had one goal and one assist, Zach de Concilys, who also racked up one goal and one assist, and Brady Wiffen, who also tallied two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Trenton received assists from Liam Morgan, Tyler Donaldson, Michael Siddall, Matt Pizzo, and Hunter Fargey, who contributed one each.

The Rangers could not produce up to their normal offensive output. North York averages 3.5 goals per game.

The Rangers were led by Matthew Whittaker, who scored the team's only goal. Whittaker scored 13:15 into the first period to make the score 1-0 North York. Zachary Fung provided the assist.

Justin Kapelmaster recorded 24 saves for Trenton. The Golden Hawks incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. North York incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
