The Mississauga Chargers could not stop the Toronto Patriots Patriots' Nico Gonzalez, who tallied a hat trick in a 5-1 win.

Toronto Patriots was led by goalie Emanuel Vella, who finished with 25 saves while allowing one goal. Vella managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.49 prior to the game.

The Patriots stifled Mississauga's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Toronto Patriots' offense rang up 42 shots on the Chargers' net.

Toronto Patriots also got points from Marco Bozzo, who also racked up one goal and two assists. Toronto Patriots also got a goal from Niko Kovachis as well. More assists for Toronto Patriots came via Jeremy Pullara, who had five and Mario Ferraro and Marcus Rose, who each chipped in one.

Mississauga could not produce up to its normal offensive output. The Chargers put an average of 3.2 pucks into the net per game.

Mississauga was led by Marco Mattina, who scored the team's only goal. Mattina scored 11:48 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Toronto Patriots. Joseph Molinaro assisted on the tally.

The Patriots incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors. Alex Lepore recorded 37 saves for the Chargers. Mississauga incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
