Aurora squeaks by Toronto Jr. Canadiens, 3-2

In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the Aurora Tigers escaped with a 3-2 victory over the Toronto Jr. Canadiens Junior Canadiens.

Aurora gained the winning advantage on a goal by Nicholas Erb 19:50 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

The Tigers were led by Erb, who grabbed one goal.

Aurora was led by Erb, who finished with one goal.

The Tigers' offense rang up 33 shots on Toronto Jr. Canadiens' net.

Aurora also got points from Johnny Curran, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Aurora also got a goal from Eric Williams as well. In addition, Aurora received assists from Daniel Mantenuto, Noah Delmas, Liam Neuman, and Sam Quaranta, who contributed one each.

The Junior Canadiens were helped by Anthony Repaci, who racked up two goals. Repaci scored the first of his two goals at 1:29 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Toronto Jr. Canadiens. Matthew Ferrari assisted on the tally. Repaci's next tally made the score 2-1 Toronto Jr. Canadiens with 5:07 left in the second period. A cross checking penalty on Quaranta had put Toronto Jr. Canadiens on the power play. Ferrari picked up the assist. More assists for Toronto Jr. Canadiens came via Ryan Kruss, who had one.

Marcus Semiao recorded 24 saves for Aurora. The Tigers incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Nathan Colitto made 30 saves for the Junior Canadiens on 33 shots. Toronto Jr. Canadiens incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
