Buffalo blows out Lindsay, 4-1

The Buffalo Jr. Sabres were firing on all cylinders against the Lindsay Muskies, and when the final buzzer sounded Jr. Sabres emerged with a 4-1 win.

Buffalo was led by Tim Kielich, who registered one goal. Kielich scored on the power play 18:52 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Buffalo. The Jr. Sabres earned a power play opportunity when James Allen was put in the box for slashing. Justin Cmunt provided the assist.

Others who scored for Buffalo included Tim Nicksic, Daniel Lafontaine, and Ryan Kuhn, who scored one goal each. In addition, Buffalo received assists from Christopher Berger, Josh Gabriel, Brenden Dunning, Bray Crowder, and Zach Evancho, who each chipped in one.

Lindsay was led by Logan DeNoble, who scored the team's only goal. DeNoble scored on the power play 11:34 into the first period to make the score 1-1. The Muskies had gotten the advantage when Buffalo's Evancho was sent off for slashing. Austin Eastman picked up the assist.

Alex Connal made 23 saves for the Jr. Sabres on 24 shots. Buffalo incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Brett Chandler rejected 26 shots on goal for Lindsay. The Muskies incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
