Brady nets hat trick, leads Kingston to 7-1 win over Burlington

A hat trick by Adam Brady was the highlight in Voyageurs' 7-1 win against the Burlington Cougars.

Brady's first goal came 16:45 into the first period. He then added goals at 3:04 into the second and at 3:43 into the second.

The Kingston Voyageurs were led by goalie Daniel Urbani, who finished with 27 saves while allowing one goal. Urbani certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 1.81 entering the contest.

Kingston managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Voyageurs wound up below its season average of 14.0 penalty minutes per game. Kingston's offense rang up 60 shots on Burlington's net. The Voyageurs found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Kingston averages 4.0 goals per game.

Kingston additionally got points from Colin Tonge, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Alex Tonge, who also registered one goal and three assists. Kingston also had goals scored by Joey Beaudoin and Joey Rutkowski, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Kingston were Ryan Watson, Alex Stothart, Rory McGuire, and Spencer Green, who contributed one each and Adam Moodie and Cole Bolton, who each chipped in two.

The Voyageurs registered two goals on two power play opportunities. Joe Noonan rejected 53 shots on goal for the Cougars. Burlington incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
