Georgetown downs Toronto Patriots, 2-1

Eric Eustace had one point to lead the Georgetown Raiders to a 2-1 victory over the Toronto Patriots Patriots.

Georgetown's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Toronto Patriots power plays. Toronto Patriots was unable to stop the Raiders from sending pucks towards the net, and Georgetown eventually piled up 36 shots on goal.

Blake Jones also scored for Georgetown. Other players who recorded assists for Georgetown were Jack Jacome and Josh Dickinson, who contributed one each.

The Patriots stifled the Raiders' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Toronto Patriots' offense operated below its season average. The Patriots average 3.1 goals per game.

Toronto Patriots was led by Nicholas Geiser, who scored the team's only goal. Geiser scored 9:37 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Quinn Syrydiuk picked up the assist.

Georgetown's Jack LaFontaine stopped 22 shots out of the 23 that he faced. The Raiders incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Mathew Robson rejected 34 shots on goal for the Patriots. Toronto Patriots incurred 28 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
