The Trenton Golden Hawks and the Kingston Voyageurs skate to 3-3 (OT) tie

Trenton found itself down againt Kingston, but battled back to secure to a tie.

The Golden Hawks forced the Voyageurs goalie Matt Penta to work between the pipes, taking 44 shots.

Trenton was helped by Robert Smythe, who finished with one goal. Smythe scored 18:55 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Kingston. Kevin Lavoie assisted on the tally. Trenton additionally got points from Lavoie, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Trenton also got a goal from Hunter Fargey as well. More assists for Trenton came via Tyler Donaldson, Danny Liscio, Michael Siddall, Matt Pizzo, and Nick Santoro, who each chipped in one.

Kingston was helped by Alex Stothart, who tallied one goal. Stothart scored on the power play 17:44 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Kingston. A slashing penalty on Donaldson had put the Voyageurs on the power play. Blake ONeill picked up the assist. Kingston also got points from Cole Bolton, who also had one goal and one assist. Ryan Watson also scored for Kingston. In addition, Kingston received assists from Adam Moodie and Spencer Green, who contributed one each.

Riley Brown rejected 25 shots on goal for the Golden Hawks. Trenton incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Penta recorded 41 saves for Kingston. The Voyageurs incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
