Trenton downs Georgetown in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Danny Liscio gave the Trenton Golden Hawks a 3-2 (OT) victory over the Georgetown Raiders when he scored 2:10 into the extra period.

Chrisitian Lloyd was all over the ice for Trenton, as he grabbed two goals in the win. Lloyd scored on the power play at 2:53 into the second period to make the score 1-1 and again while 19:25 into the third to make the score 2-2.

The Golden Hawks stifled Georgetown's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Raiders were unable to stop Trenton from sending pucks towards the net, and the Golden Hawks eventually piled up 38 shots on goal. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

In addition, Trenton received assists from Braden Hellems, who had two and Blayne Oliver, Matt Pizzo, Zach de Concilys, and Hunter Fargey, who each chipped in one.

Georgetown could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game.

The Raiders were helped by Brendan Jacome, who had one goal. Jacome scored 37 seconds into the second period to make the score 1-0 Georgetown. Eric Eustace provided the assist. Steve Hladin also scored for Georgetown. Other players who recorded assists for Georgetown were Scott Emerson and Anthony Marra, who contributed one each.

Justin Kapelmaster made 27 saves for Trenton on 29 shots. The Golden Hawks incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Marc Williams rejected 35 shots on goal for Georgetown. The Raiders registered zero goals on three power play opportunities.
