The Trenton Golden Hawks used a sparkling performance by Justin Kapelmaster to take down the Oakville Blades, as the netminder did not allow a goal in Trenton's 3-0 shutout victory.

The Golden Hawks were paced by Liam Morgan, who had one goal. Morgan scored 4:53 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Trenton. Kevin Lavoie provided the assist.

Trenton forced Oakville's goalies to work without much rest, launching 33 shots and forcing 30 saves. Daniel Mannella made 18 stops and Brendan McGlynn made 12. The Golden Hawks stifled the Blades' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Trenton did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. Oakville ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Vince Palermo was ejected from the game.
