The Oakville Blades were firing on all cylinders against the Pickering Panthers, and when the final buzzer sounded Blades emerged with a 6-2 win. Oakville got the win thanks to a great game by Jackson Bales, who had two goals and two assists. Bales scored the first of his two goals at 16:21 into the second period to make the score 4-0 Oakville. Tyler Rollo provided the assist. Bales' next tally made the score 6-1 Oakville with 7:27 left in the third period. The Blades had gained a power play chance when Cam Palmer was whistled for interference. Pickering's penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled eight minors and one major for 21 minutes in penalty time. The Panthers surpassed its season average of 19.0 penalty minutes per game. Pickering's offense operated below its season average. The Panthers average 4.3 goals per game. The Blades were unable to stop Pickering from sending pucks towards the net, and the Panthers eventually piled up 33 shots on goal.
