Stouffville blows out St. Michaels, 7-4

The Stouffville Spirit had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-4 win over the St. Michaels Buzzers.

Stouffville forced St. Michaels' goaltenders to work in net, firing 32 shots and forcing 25 saves. Mark Manolescu made 21 stops and George Argiropoulos made four. The Spirit outdid their season average for goals scored. Stouffville averages 3.4 goals per game.

The Spirit were unable to stop the Buzzers from sending pucks towards the net, and St. Michaels eventually piled up 34 shots on goal.

The Buzzers were led by Thomas Beretta, who had three goals. St. Michaels additionally got points from Bron Loiselle, who also finished with one goal and one assist. More assists for St. Michaels came via Luca Doctor, who had one and Ian Edmondson and Joseph Berton, who contributed two each.

Stouffville's Aaron Taylor stopped 30 shots out of the 34 that he faced. The Spirit incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. St. Michaels incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
