Undaunted by a two-goal deficit, Team Brick Alberta battled back to claim a 3-2 victory over Detroit Red Wings.

Team Brick Alberta never led in the game until netting the game winner. Team Brick Alberta trailed 2-0 after a goal by Detroit Red Wings' Maximilian Jelavic at 3:09 in the second period. Team Brick Alberta tied things up at 2-2 on a short handed goal by Taylor Haggerty at 6:26 in the second period. Team Brick Alberta scored the game winner on the power play at 10:09 in the second period on a goal by Haggerty.

Haggerty had two goals to lead Team Brick Alberta to victory.

Team Brick Alberta's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Detroit Red Wings power plays. Detroit Red Wings was unable to stop Team Brick Alberta from sending pucks towards the net, and Team Brick Alberta eventually piled up 38 shots on goal.

Matthew Savoie also scored for Team Brick Alberta. In addition, Team Brick Alberta received assists from Jordan Gustafson, who had two and Cade Christenson, Rieger Lorenz, and Liam Watkins, who contributed one each.

Detroit Red Wings also got a goal from Michael Mesic as well. More assists for Detroit Red Wings came via Ryan Abraham and Owen Baker, who each chipped in one.
