Boston Junior Bruins rips Team Minnesota, 6-2

Boston Junior Bruins had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-2 win over Team Minnesota.

Brady Berard had a great game for Boston Junior Bruins, netting two goals. Berard's tallies came on the power play at 1:17 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Boston Junior Bruins and on the power play 12 seconds into the third to make the score 3-0 Boston Junior Bruins.

Boston Junior Bruins pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 12 penalty minutes.

Boston Junior Bruins forced Team Minnesota's goaltenders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, firing 42 shots and forcing 36 saves. Jacob Fowler made 24 stops and Finn Dexheimer made 12. Boston Junior Bruins found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Boston Junior Bruins has scored at the pace of 3.7 goals per game during the current campaign.

Boston Junior Bruins also got points from Frankie Dancona, who also finished with two goals and one assist to lead the team in points and Chris Delaney, who also registered one goal and one assist. Boston Junior Bruins also got a goal from Ethan Johnson as well. Other players who recorded assists for Boston Junior Bruins were Brian Grant and Jackson Dorrington, who each chipped in one and Michael Callow, Cj Foley, and Cameron Lund, who contributed two each.

Team Minnesota was led by Jackson Anderson, who racked up one goal and one assist. Anderson scored 12:09 into the third period to make the score 6-2 Boston Junior Bruins. Aaron Schwartz also scored for Team Minnesota.

Brendan Flanagan rejected 22 shots on goal for Boston Junior Bruins. Boston Junior Bruins registered two goals on six power play opportunities. Team Minnesota totaled 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 1-for-6 on the power play.
