Lindberg's goals lift Team Minnesota to 3-1 victory over BC Junior Canucks

Behind a great game by Gavin Lindberg, who had two goals, Team Minnesota defeated BC Junior Canucks, 3-1.

Lindberg scored at 8:22 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Team Minnesota and again while 14:27 into the third to make the score 3-1 Team Minnesota.

Gavin Brindley also scored for Team Minnesota. In addition, Team Minnesota received assists from Aaron Schwartz, Gavyn Thoreson, Luke Hause, and Isaac Howard, who each chipped in one.

BC Junior Canucks was led by Daimon Gardner, who scored the team's only goal. Gardner scored on the power play 5:05 into the second period to make the score 1-0 BC Junior Canucks. BC Junior Canucks earned a power play opportunity when Jackson Anderson was put in the box for body checking.

Jacob Fowler recorded 21 saves for Team Minnesota. Team Minnesota incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. BC Junior Canucks' Ronin Geraghty stopped 20 shots out of the 22 that he faced. BC Junior Canucks incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
