Duke lifts Pennsylvania over Chicago Jr. Blackhawks, 3-1

Tyler Duke had two goals to lead Pennsylvania to a 3-1 victory over Chicago Jr. Blackhawks.

Duke found the back of the net 2:35 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Pennsylvania and again while 10:54 into the third to make the score 3-1 Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania also got a goal from Braedon Ford as well. More assists for Pennsylvania came via Grace Dwyer, Chris Pelosi, Matthew Di Marsico, Alex Rafalski, and Luke Woodworth, who contributed one each.

Chicago Jr. Blackhawks managed to stay out of the box better than usual, tallying one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Chicago Jr. Blackhawks finished below its season average of 3.0 penalty minutes per game.

Chicago Jr. Blackhawks was led by Jaxon Wilson, who scored the team's only goal. Wilson scored on the power play 9:16 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Chicago Jr. Blackhawks. A tripping penalty on Dwyer had put Chicago Jr. Blackhawks on the power play. Anthony Ruklic picked up the assist.

Pennsylvania's Levi Mc Crea stopped 16 shots out of the 17 that he faced. Pennsylvania incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Luke Brzezinski rejected 19 shots on goal for Chicago Jr. Blackhawks. Chicago Jr. Blackhawks registered one goal on three power play opportunities.
