Montreal Ice Storm survives Team Minnesota comeback, wins 3-2

Team Minnesota tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but Montreal Ice Storm would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-2.

Montreal Ice Storm took a 3-1 lead during the third period, only to have Team Minnesota storm back on a Isaac Howard goal 13:39 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

Team Minnesota's power play was ineffective against Montreal Ice Storm's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Montreal Ice Storm stifled Team Minnesota's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Montreal Ice Storm was helped by James Swan, who racked up one goal. Swan scored 6:31 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Montreal Ice Storm. Frederick Maltais picked up the assist. Montreal Ice Storm also had goals scored by Tristan Luneau and David Goyette, who each put in one. More assists for Montreal Ice Storm came via Jake Rozzi and Jace Letourneau, who contributed one each.

Nick Mikan also scored for Team Minnesota. Other players who recorded assists for Team Minnesota were Jimmy Clark, who had one.

Jeremy Louchard recorded 19 saves for Montreal Ice Storm. Montreal Ice Storm incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Finn Dexheimer made 25 saves for Team Minnesota on 28 shots. Team Minnesota incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
