Team GTHL Blue pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over Team ALLIANCE on a clutch goal by Kyle Maksimovich.

Team GTHL Blue overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Team GTHL Blue fell behind 2-0 after a goal by Team ALLIANCE's Brady Pataki at 15:53 in the first period. Team GTHL Blue tied things up at 2-2 on a goal by Maksimovich at 12:34 in the third period.

Maksimovich was all over the ice for Team GTHL Blue, as he registered two goals in the win.

Team GTHL Blue excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Team GTHL Blue was held below its usual level of production. Team GTHL Blue averages 5.5 goals per game. Team ALLIANCE was unable to stop Team GTHL Blue from sending pucks towards the net, and Team GTHL Blue eventually piled up 33 shots on goal.

Reagan OGrady also scored for Team GTHL Blue. Other players who recorded assists for Team GTHL Blue were Taylor Raddysh, who had two and Daniel Tomassetti and Jason Pineo, who each chipped in one.

Team ALLIANCE could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

Team ALLIANCE also got a goal from Connor Hill as well. More assists for Team ALLIANCE came via Connor Hall and Levi Tetrault, who contributed one each.

Julian Sime made 26 saves for Team GTHL Blue on 28 shots. Team GTHL Blue incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Team ALLIANCE's Tyler Wall stopped 30 shots out of the 33 that he faced.
