Cameron Morrison had one goal and two assists to lead Team OMHA White. Morrison scored on the power play 17:00 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Team OMHA White. Team OMHA White had gained a power play chance when Zack Lugli was whistled for cross checking. James Allen provided the assist.

Team OMHA White's penalty kill excelled, as Team OMHA White gave up zero goals despite allowing eight power plays.

Team OMHA White forced Team HNO's goaltenders to work between the pipes, finishing with 41 shots and forcing 32 saves. Brock Aiken made 20 stops and Drew Karle made 12. Team OMHA White stifled Team HNO's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Team OMHA White's goal total was higher than its season average. Team OMHA White was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 16 penalty minutes.
